Late April 2008
6 a.m.... Yoh's alarm rang... He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the time... From having a feeling of emptiness from his sleep to a gush of mixed feelings penetrated his heart in just a moment... Even though he opened his eyes... He wanted to sleep again... To forget all the painful memories that just struck through his heart with a brutal force... A bit of tears fell down his cheeks...

" I'm sorry... I gave him a chance... I'm really sorry... " his memories in his brain said those words to him... Yoh became cold... Really cold... He closed his eyes and rolled around his bed screaming like a mad man... His imagination went wild and kept thinking about it... That experience changed him... Changed his entire way of living... He wasn't himself... He couldn't be himself... He became someone totally different...

" Why can't I just sleep and die the other day? " Yoh said that to himself silently... He hated himself and regret about what had happened... But he just kept it in his heart... Trying to carry everything and make it his burden...

He woke up the next minute and get dressed for class... Today is also the first day where he would drive to his college... He was a bit nervous but he moved on and drove to the college with his neighbor, Larry... It wasn't a long journey but Yoh gained experience and although he nearly got himself into an accident he still managed it somehow... Yoh was trying hard... He wanted to perfect his driving... For there is something he needed to do...

" I don't have much time... " Yoh's heart whispered to him...

During the classes... His mind wasn't there... Yoh was daydreaming for a long time... Everytime he put his head on the table... Memories of that faithful day raced into him... He hated himself so much because of that...

At 9 a.m.... His lecturer was absent... So Yoh scouted around to fill his head with something... A white shiny gadget got his attention... It was playing the tune of FFVII which attracted him... He played it for a while and went on with a Rubik's Cube... For the whole time Yoh was moodless... He doesn't understand why... Even though entertainment was on his doorstep... His feelings were all gone and destroyed...

After lunch, Yoh walked back to his class with his usual classmates... Except for his friend Orlando... He understands that perfectly... There are someone else much more important than friends... But there were some minor problems between Orlando and her... So Yoh just opened his mouth and said...

" Don't be like me... " he advised and walked away from the crowd... There were a lot of mixed feelings in Yoh... Sometimes he wanted to be lonely and depress himself... Sometimes he just wants his friends to be with him...

After a whole day of class and driving... Yoh went back... His thoughts about it came back and haunt him... The moodless feeling came back to him for the rest of the day... After his dinner, Yoh went back to his room... Locked himself up in a tiny compact space... He kept staring at his phone... Waiting for the message that would never come to him...

Chapter 1 - The Wish

This is a story about a guy... Its just another normal story about a guy living in somewhere in this world having his own life on his hands... But little does he know that the things and challenges he will face in his life... And his heart...

It all started way back into time... When technology breakthrough just came into the world... Where internet starts to loom around everyone's home... Its at the year 1990 where a story about a boy out of millions of others was born...

" Relax darling, everything will be fine... " Dan said to his lovely wife, Maria...

" I couldn't take it anymore!!! " screamed Maria... Grabbing Dan's hand with all her might...

The doctors and nurses were all around watching and calming her down... And at exactly 1.49 a.m. at late December a child is born...

" Its a boy... " said the doctor... Dan and Maria were happy... Very happy in fact that they forgot all their worries in that split moment...

" Lets call him Yoh... " said Dan... Maria agreed with a nod... Too tired to speak or give any comments...

____________________ 16 Years Later ____________________

This is where the story of his life starts... During that 16 years... He has been from a failure to a success... He has lived up his expectations and made his parents proud... He was also a step nearer in competing with his sister, Cruz, who has been the best in studies in his whole family...

The story starts during the late December of year 2006... It was his birthday... His 16 year old birthday... He was quite happy about it and invited alot of his friends over... He was also excited because he invited someone special to his party... It was Pico... She was not the prettiest nor the best but she attracted Yoh and he kinda liked her...

The clock strikes 3... Guests started to pour in... All his best friends were there celebrating with Yoh... But Pico was not there... Yoh started panicking... Suddenly a loud horn was heard and he saw Pico with another friend she brought, Chermaine... For the whole party Yoh was with her... In the park, around the house, on the streets... Yoh was quite happy and satisfied but he saw Pico's friend Chermaine being quite lonely... So Yoh walked over and started a conversation...

" Hey, my name's Yoh... " Yoh said...

" Hi... My name's Chermaine... " she replied with a soft voice...

Yoh quickly replied " Nice to meet you Chermaine... Want to join us at the park? "

" Sure!!! " she said with a rather loud voice compared to a moment ago...

Yoh and her walked down the streets to the park where everyone is gathered and waiting for the birthday boy... Right after Yoh reached the park, he was quickly blindfolded... After a moment, lights shone into his eyes and he saw a marvelous birthday cake... Right before he blows out the candles, his friends asked him to make a wish... So he looked at Pico and...

" I wish I could have a girlfriend... " he said it in his heart...

That's when his life started to turn to a point of no return...
